Basic

  • Free
  • Access to the AWS Community Forums

Developer

  • $29 or 3% of monthly AWS spend
  • Good for when you want to experiment with AWS
  • One primary contact, can ask technical questions via the Support Center
  • Response 12–24 hours during business hours

Business

  • $100 a month but scales on usage
  • Good for small to medium size companies with a decent sized user base
  • Help with third-party software
  • Full Access to AWS trusted Adviser to optimise your AWS infrastructure
  • Access to the Support API for automating support cases
  • 27x7 support by phone and chat
  • 1 hour response time to urgent support cases.

Enterprise

  • $15,000 a month but scales on usage
  • Good for enterprise and companies with a large user base
  • Contains all the features in the Business Plan
  • Assigned a Technical Account Manager AKA known as (TAM) (provides guidance and best practices)
  • A Support member to provider billing and account analysis.
  • Event Management to help support product launches
  • A 15 minute response to critical cases.
